Provider Relations Field Supervisor (OSTS)

Remote - Remote, CT

The Provider Relations Field Supervisor is responsible developing, training and overseeing the Office of Specialized Transportation (OSTS) Provider Network. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Working closely with Business Development to find new transportation providers (TP) for the Office of Specialized Transportation Services  (OSTS)
  • Help TP’s to become compliant with the requirements for each state and line of business
  • Responsible for maintaining network adequacy in all states where OSTS has a presence
  • Responsible for TP  initial credentialing and re-credentialing
  • Oversight of providers and drivers to ensure compliance with Client, State, Federal and CTS regulations
  • Works in concert with the Provider Relations Manager to ensure overall  OSTS network management
  • Responsible for working with TP’s to negotiate rates
  • Create Dispatching Routing when needed
  • First point of contact for any issues pertaining to the providers as they relate to OSTS transportation
  • Review CTS’ Provider Relations Policies & Procedures, CTS’ Provider Operations Manual, contracts and recommend improvements
  • Attend meetings as needed with Account Management for OSTS

Travel – travel will be required.

Education and/or Experience                                                  

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience

and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Language Skills                                                              

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 Mathematical Skills                                                     

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

 Reasoning Ability                                                          

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 Computer Skills                                                             

The ability to understand basic computer skills and basic software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
