Provider Relations Field Supervisor

Trumbull, CT

The Provider Relations Field Supervisor is responsible developing, training and overseeing the Provider Network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Working closely with Provider Relations Field Manager and Provider Relations Manager to find new transportation providers (TP)
  • Responsible for contracting, negotiating rates, and maintaining contract files
  • Help TPs to become compliant with the requirements for each state and line of business
  • Train TPs to use the CTS Portal, driver app and all other systems
  • Responsible for maintaining network adequacy and oversight in your territory
  • Territory covered will be Western Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York City (travel to these areas is required)
  • Monitor contract compliance to ensure TP’s meet all requirements such as insurance, DMV, Medicaid/Medicare, Veterans Administration, school boards and all other lines of business
  • Attend CTS client meetings as needed
  • Responsible to conduct initial and yearly credentialing (site visits, spot checks, desktop audits) to ensure TPs are operating in compliance with requirements.
  • Works in concert with the Provider Relations Manager to ensure overall network management
  • First point of contact for any issues pertaining to the providers as they relate to contracting issues.
  • Review CTS’ Provider Relations Policies & Procedures, CTS’ Provider Operations Manual, contracts and recommend improvements
  • Attend meetings as needed with Account Management
  • Develop presentation and present at the annual provider training meeting

Travel – travel will be required.

Education and/or Experience                                                  

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience

and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
